The PADI Open Water Diver Referral course is the first part of the single most popular diving course in the world; it’s your first step into the exciting undersea world of scuba diving.
This generally takes 5 pool sessions and 4 hours of academic sessions
- All tuition in small groups max 4 persons
- Full equipment including: mask, fins, snorkel
- PADI open water deluxe crew pack (purchased on line before course starts to commence home studying)
You are then ready to do your four open water evaluation dives to achieve your PADI Open Water Certificate any where in the world.
The referral course covers all the theory and pool skills needed for the PADI Open Water certification. After the course you are then ready for the Open Water Evaluation Dives which you need to do to complete your PADI Open Water referral course. We keep our courses small, so you get the most out of it, we have a maximum of 4 trainees to 1 instructor. We believe that small groups are key to making sure you learn and have fun.
The theory is completed with the help of an Open Water manual and crew pack. This is designed to allow you to study in the comfort of your own home and have materials to refer to later, after your pool sessions we have 2 very informal knowledge review discussions making sure you have understood your open water manual and then you will complete some multiple-choice quizzes and exams. We have an overall pass rate of 99% at Duck and Dive and there will always be instructors on hand to help.
